Bravia KD-65AF8 doesn't turn on or takes a while to power up

Day 3 with new TV and it drives me mad already.

It takes a while to switch it on and whenever I am able to do it it goes to the start up screen, that takes more than 1 minute.

Swapped the batteries, plugged the cord, liable stand by... nothing

Sometimes it doesn't switch on, and when it eventually does it takes ages before the picture comes on.

Any idea

From your description it sounds to me that the problem is due to installing unsupported apps for Android TV. Could you perhaps confirm that you don't have any apps installed/side-loaded?
