KDL32S2030 HDMI Connection not live

I have been given this television and have tried connecting an Amazon Firestick to it with no success. There is only one HDMI socket on the back of the tv , Whem I scroll through the settings I can`t see an HDMI tab to click on !, does this mean that the socket is not connected or is there something I am missing ? There are such things as AV1, AV2, AV3, External Feed etc that can be highlighted. I am far from an electronics wizard but understand basic instructions in my senior years !

Also the remote control unit does not operate the volume on the tv but can be done on the tv itself.

Any information would be appreciated.

Hi Alladin,

I found in the manual that the HDMI port is represented in the input list by AV4.

The TV seems to be a bit on the older side, this means that the HDCP version supported by the HDMI port on it could be out dated, causing incompatibility with newer HDMI devices.

Thank you for your reply, I will pass on your comments to my Brother in Law and it will most likely help him to come to a decision on what to do. It is quite an old set as you say so will see what happens.
