y Anyone got a usb stick built pre V8.0.0 V6.6520?

this update killed mine and others internet, wondered if trying to boot / install from this may rebuild ok

Unfortunately its not possible to downgrade the firmware on the Sony sets. So even if you get hold of it, it won't work. 😞

Welcome to planet Sony.

That's one way to sell more TVs and can only wonder how long they will get away with stopping customers from downgrading firmware after new updated firmware fails to perform as described and makes out of warranty TVs inoperable. 👿

I guess they will continue to do it until someone decides to start a class action against Sony and their no downgrades policy. Any law firms reading this ? You could have millions of customers from around the globe.
