Sony FW-85XD8501 Home screen

Hi there,

I have the above screen installed in a clients office, but when we turn the screen on via control, the screen automatically reverts to the home screen instead of an input. How is it possible to turn this off, or set the input that I want the screen to turn onto?

As you are probably aware, the FW-85XD8501 is a professional TV and this is a consumer user help community. However you never know. Is it an Android TV, if so what is the Android software release etc. There may be somebody out there who is familiar with this TV but unlikely.

Hi @LightFoot ,

It is an android TV. As far as the software release, where is this information stored? I'm sure it will be the standard software release that is built in the TV when the screen is manufactured, and hasn't changed since the purchase.

Hi @cmaginnis Sorry, no idea on how to enter the service mode. However I can see several suggestions and videos if you try a google search. 🙂
