KD-55XF9005 Device Control (Alexa & Xbox one) not working since update

Has anyone else noticed the Alexa control and xbox one x's ability to control the tv has stopped working since the latest update?

my tv went through a period of telling me that the privacy agreement for Alexa had been updated and need to be re-agreed to. This happened constantly, sometimes multiple time s in a day. Then everything including the xbox stopped working not long after.

if I fully restart the tv it does work briefly but once its gone off it goes back to not responding to the console or Alexa again.
