KD55XF9005 stuck on loop when turned on

I’ve read this forum and seen a few people who have issues when turning on their TVs.

Are there any permanent fixes to this as I’ve just bought a new XF9005 and when I turn it on, it loads the Sony logo screen, then shuts off and does the same continuously for a very long time (over 5 mins).

Eventually will turn on properly and all my app settings have defaulted back, and I get a message saying it’s not connected to wifi, it’s like the tv has performed a reset itself.

It usually happens when the tv has been off for a long time (overnight etc) but does happen when the TV has been off for less than an hour.

It’s an intermittent problem, as sometimes it turns on straight away.

I have updated to the latest software (6.6555). I have done a hard reset using the tv buttons and a software reset.

I’m not happy with this tv. Any help?
