Hello,

I have the above Model Sony Bravia TV which is great. However does anyone know if you can turn off Dolby Vision?

I use my Netflix through my Xbox and when you open the app it automatically switches to Dolby Vision so Non Dolby Vision shows/movies look washed out. I am unable to do this on Xbox and I was wondering any of you know a way to resolve this?

My parents have a later Bravia model that does seem to allow you to do this.

Many thanks

Jon

You cannot disable dolby vision on the tv, you have to change the source https://www.windowscentral.com/xbox-one-enable-dolby-vision?amp

Normally though the app on xbox should recognize that the content is not dolby vision and do not send the corresponding signal to the tv... and btw I do not get why using the netflix app on the console rather than the tv itself...

Hi Rooob

thanks for the useful advice. I use an Astro A50 headset which enables me to make use of Dolby Atmos through the headset but not through the Netflix app itself.

Kind Regards Jon
