New KD-48A9 Picture loss after 1 minute

Just set up this model yesterday, and on inputs tried so far, (except Internet) the picture blanks out (black except Bravia logo bottom rhs) after 1 minute! Pressing a button on remote restores. Sound is not affected.

We have Virgin Box (V6) on HDMI2 and a CCTV via HDMI4, and Satellite TV connected (no box, just direct into TV)

All of those exhibit this, EXCEPT have tried YouTube & Prime Video via apps - therefore from internet -and they are fine.

TV has been completely switched off and same today.

HDMI cables are same as connected previously to a Panasonic TX-L42DT50B Smart TV before.

We have checked Screensaver settings and timer.

Any ideas? Has anyone else experienced this?

Update - called Sony Helpline when opened Monday morning - (the guy said hadn't encountered this before) and suggested update software - this seems to have cleared the problem
