Latest BRAVIA Update

Has anyone experienced a change in picture quality following the latest update ? My picture looks like an old CRT. It doesn’t look like 4K and the colours have lost their detail. I’ve done a factory reset but it’s made no difference.

We need a few more clues, like what update and on what TV (model number)?

I recently updated my KD-55XE9305 to v6.7165 and certainly can not see any deterioration in picture quality. Just the same excellent picture!

The model is KD-55XG8196 and software is PKG6.7165

I’ve updated before without problem.

It’s like a filter has been added to the picture. It’s not as sharp and everything is dull and has a “Matt” look to it
