Bravia 65" switch between headphones and tv speaker

If I plug a pair of Sony wireless headphones in the 3.5mm head phone jack on the back I can't get any sound to the TV speakers.

Isn't there a setting to select what output I want?

I am surprised that you can plug in wireless headphones to a wired socket, or is that a typo?

On my KD-55XE9305 there is a setting under Home -> Settings -> Display & Sound -> Audio output -> Audio to both speakers & other device -> Enable.

What is your TV’s model number and firmware version? There are many types of settings dependent on model number.

I believe they mean Wireless headphones that also have a 3.5mm jack.

More info would be helpful though since we don't know what TV your have nor the headphones for that matter.

But Sony does have an article for this specific question, so give it a look.

I get this issue too. It seems that if the headphones jack is in it wont accept using the speakers anymore and I've tried many different things to get it working. Unplugging was the only thing that worked.
