KD 49XG9005 -Sound dissapears sometimes when switching back over from internet- tv

( seems to be only since last update)

Have to re-start android to cure the problem ( just switching off does not solve it)

Hey,

Maybe try to clear the cache and data for the TV
-Go to [Settings] - [Device Preferences] - [Storage] - [Internal shared storage] - [Cached data] - then click [OK] to clear it.

Also do you have any audio device connected? or this happens on the TV speakers?

Thx for your reply

Have done as you said ( No difference)

I have no extra sound system - just use tv speakers

The only add on i put on when 1st bought was a h/drive for recording

The problem only appeared after the last update ( i think ?)

I have chkd & have the latest s/ware update

@petemech, have you made sure that the , latest software version is installed? You can also try resetting the sound settings by pressing (Settings - Display & Sound - Sound - Reset)

Sorry for delay in replying - but i wanted to make sure your suggestion worked OK

AND it did : ) So as it was intermittent, i left it for a fortnight to make sure.

So now i can enjoy watching tv & internet based progs again !
