TV Turning off

Hi guys,

I have a XR55A84JU that is connected to a ht-x8500 soundbar via hdmi3 earc. If I pause the programme I am watching or have say plex menu open the TV shuts off after a few minutes, I have gone through the setting the TV idle is set to 2 hours, is there any other setting as it gets annoying sometimes, I know it could cause a problem with image retention on a static screen but just want a reasonable time before it turns off, say 10 minutes.

There is no need to keep a static image for ten minutes and it can burn your panel. The TV should not be off 8n any case it should bring on the Google screen saver and just pushing a button on the remote should resume tha previous screen

I think you can set the sleep timer from the settings, you might wanna check this link:

It turns out there was a problem with the screensaver, when the screensaver activated the TV shut down, I reset the tv to defaults screensaver works as normal and tv doesn't turn off, thank for the replies
