Black squares in menu screens

My Sony KD-49X7500F with Android O Ssince a couple of weeks shows a lot of black screen squares in the menu screens, making them almost unusable (see picture). Looking at videos on Youtube or Netflix is fine.

When changing the volume and the volume number is shown on top of a video, then the black pixel will be shown during this time as well.

I restarted and reset the TV without change. The internet connection is over 80 Mbps.

Appreciate any tips.

My guess is the panel or controller has gone, only support can tell but if you are out of the warranty may not be a valid option

Hey @martinduda72, make sure to have the latest software version available. Also, remove any connected devices to the TV, one of them might be affecting the TV negatively.
