Sony KD-XD8505 dead after 7 years

Hi guys,

Regrettably my good old Sony TV broke and there is no way back I am afraid.

Blinking red 6x every time I try to turn i on.

Servis told me back light is gone and there is no way to replace it.

Just wanted to share my experience 😞

Well, no, but I have consulted 2 authorised Sony services and both told me that the back light is gone and since the TV is 2016 model, there is no way I can find original back light to replace faulty one.
