While we wait to check your exact model I have a feeling that your TV won't be able to update

as Android 7 was released in 2016 and your TV is probably no longer supported for updates if you are

getting the 'this is the latest version' message.

The TV model is KD-49X8305C and when I bought it it had Android 5. It has automatically updated as far as Android 7.0. You may be right that the hardware/firmware cannot support later versions of Android. If so can the firmware be updated?

Hi again

The latest firmware update to 5.457 was released on 7/4/21 but this would not allow further Android updates anyway.

What app were you using?

Edit apologies for repeating the firmware version and date posted by davey, I didn't see they'd already posted.

Also, are you experiencing this issue with any other apps or just this one?
