I have left you a link above, but to boot in safe mode you need to press longer on the power button then tap longer on turn off option (it should tell you if you want to restart in safe mode).

In order to get rid of that app, you don't need to restore old configurations.

Apps that you have installed on your own will not be loaded in safe mode.

Can you see the application if you go to Settings > Apps? If you can see it here you should be able to press on it and choose uninstall.

Hello again!

Like mentioned by @uliwooly this is how it works with apps and the SD card in an Android phone.

The app needs to be on the internal storage when it's being updated. You will then have to move the app(s) manually after the update has been completed.

You can read more about how it works with applications and SD cards below:

When you move an app to the external SD card, only the application APK is moved. The APK is the file that was downloaded when you installed the app from Google Play. Additional data, such as private data, databases and Opaque Binary Blob (OBB) files will remain on the internal storage. The OBB files are not affected at all when you move an app, since the OBB file is generally put outside the app folder. The path is known by the app and used by the app. The path can't be changed, otherwise the app would not find the OBB file.

There is a few things you can do to free up space in your phone.

After using the phone for a while the cached data will start to fill up, this is temporary saved data from application. So if you are OK with deleting this you can do so by going to Settings > Storage > Cached data > OK.

If you have apps in your phone that can't be uninstalled but you aren't using them you can uninstall updates for the apps, they will then be restored to the factory version of the app which is smaller in size than the fully updated version.

To do that go to Settings > Apps > name of the app > Uninstall updates.

If you have automatic updates turned on in the Google Play store you will either have to change this so these apps won't be updated automatically again, to change this open up the Google Play store app > 3 vertical lines in the top left corner > Settings > Auto-update apps > Do not auto-update apps.

If you want to keep this feature enabled you will have to search for each of the apps that you uninstalled updates for in the Google Play store > find the app > tap on it > 3 dots in the top right corner > uncheck "Auto-update".

Make sure that you have transferred what you can to your SD card, Settings > Storage > Transfer to SD card.

If you are using the camera a lot you can also check if the setting to save photos and movies directly to your SD card is enabled. Start with opening up the camera application > 3 dots > gear icon to the right > Data storage > SD card.

Let me know if anything is unclear!
