@ Null, your screenshot pic is unavailable. It doesn't show up. What's the score?

@XperiaUser1, same here, on 4.3. Yeah it's kinda weird that Xperia SP beats Xperia Z. But who knows? lol

Many reasons for this my friends- in 3 words: Quality over Quantity

first of all, the xperia sp has a much more advanced and newer chipset- Krait 300 MSM8960T- which is the same as the Moto X. this allows for much higher performance yield per core.

secondly, it has much less pixels to push, which results in a much higher graphics potential- up to twice as powerful in fact without the 1080p display. i know this cos my xperia got 57.8fps in the Epic Citadel Ultra Quality setting.

Thirdly, there is newer, faster RAM. this results in much higher data transfer speeds, and thus the increased score.

The Xperia SP is sole proof that specs arent everything. amd that we dont usually need or use the power of todays overkill chipsets ( Tegra K1, Exynos Octa and Snapdragon 8000 series etc).

hope i cleared up the confusion.

cheers
