Hi, I have just returned from a week in Portugal, of which on the 22nd May I decided to use my phone for the first time under water in the pool. I was physically in the pool for a couple of minutes, as whilst in the shallow end I was unable to take a photo using the onscreen takephoto button, I assume due to the water, and simply forgot to press the button to the top. I got out of the pool to try and find the waterdrop app (cant find it), but for approximately 5 minutes the camera app kept opening. However when I was ready to take a photo (not underwater) I noticed the picture was all misty. On inspecting The rear camera is all misted up in a circular form. I have take photo to show the difference if you need to see these. I have now returned to England and the mist still appears. All other functions work, but extremely disappointing as was unable to take any photos underwater. The main reason of my purchase of this phone and the Z1 Tablet. I didn't even dare take the tablet into the pool. I can say this ruined part of my holiday.
What do I do?

I know what you mean, I purposely went abroad to use my new gadgets, z1 phone and z1 tablet, not taking a camera as also have the qx10 however mainly used my phone as the camera is amazing,.well was and didn't have wifi connection to use my qx10. I have some excellent photos for the first few days, but after the pool incident I was unable to use my phone as a camera, the lens all misty, surely they woul. Of thought of this. Annoyed and starting to loose trust in Sony, I have invested over £2K over the last year on Sony. I have submitted a repair request but the question is will it happen again, as going back abroad soon, do I have to invest in a separate camera, can . Trust takin. My tablet into the pool. Can't really take my phone in our local swimming pool.
