Xperia ultra reboots when incoming call comes in

When the phone is on standby and I receive a call the phone will completely reboot, thus missing the call completely. I've got the latest updates installed and this puzzles me and is very annoying since the phone is brand new.please help.

Get a brand new SIM card and check again also you can boot on safe mode and see if the problem occur

Thanks for the responses and I will try both a new sim and the safe mode boot and hopefully I can figure this out. I really hope my phone isn't a dud because apart from the weird restarts or complete inability to wake from sleep (common problem for me) the phone sounds great and visually is fantastic.

Unfortunately the sim change results in the same issue.even when I put the phone on standby mode I still get the issue of the phone not waking up from standby, it will actually reboot just to restart. I've even downloaded standby apps but still the same issues repeat. Pulling my hair out...

Downloaded the program and if all else fails I will try a repair, although I must admit that I have spent the last few days getting the phone synced and setup with all my normal apps and would hate to lose it all and restart from square one...

If PCC doesn't solve the issue then it could be a hardware issue, you will have to contact your local Xperia Care

Did the Xperia care fresh install and it still runs sporadically, sometimes I'm using it then press the power button and it doesn't wake, or reboots slowly so missing calls has become second place. I'm going to bring it back to the store for an exchange for the same phone because I love everything else about it.

Hi guys, seemed like my phone was just plain old broken somehow because it never did work properly. I took it back to the store and they honoured my receipt and since I wanted an exchange for the same phone, it looked legit and I wasn't trying to rip them off somehow. The new phone works perfectly fine and there is nothing better than an xperia phone this large in screen Size when working as intended. Once again thank you all for the advice and help and I wish all a great new year!
