Xperia E3 please help

When my son tries to set homescreen picture using either photos he's taken or the pre set wallpapers on the phone they are always very enlarged and do not fit the screen what so ever. Please help as we do not know how to fix the problem. Thank you in advance

The preset wallpapers will fit exactly,don't know about the pictures he has taken or downloaded.

Get pictures that are 480x854 exactly.

How do I check the resolution settings on the phone to make sure that it is set to 480x854 please

You can't change the resolution of your phone btw.

If you have a wallpaper with resolution 480x854,it will make a three window pane view.Making you having the option to have smaller,zoomed and cropped wallpaper.

So if you want a crisp clear wallpaper,try searching for 1280x720 resolution wallpaper(a landscape view wallpaper) and set them as wallpaper.
