Hi I'm new to this forum, I've had a problem with my Z2 for the last 2/3 months.

The problem is that the camera function of my device seems to be damaged. My front facing camera very rarely works, the quality of my rear camera has considerably decreased and it seems that the focusing function is also broken.

When I presented my problem to sony they told me to reboot the device with the latest software. This temporarily fixed the problem however the cameras were very laggy and still terrible quality! After a week the problem has got worse once again and now neither my front or rear facing camera work.

Has anyone had experience of this before? If so what was the problem? I don't want to send my device to sony for them to tell me the damage is not covered under warranty!

Thanks,
Jake

You should contact Sony Xperia Support, that could be a hardware issue.

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Can't do much really when you have set notifications volume to max in sound / ringtone menu.
when it goes to background def. it's sometimes tricky. To have the best effect the blurred objects should be bout 1 meter away from object you want to stay sharp. If the objects are too close there will be no blur or it might look not precise. If you get an error message try to go to apps, all, and clear data for camera and background def. Restart phone.
