Amber alerts - Repeats and redundant

I have had the Z3 on T-Mobile for a few months now and I continue to receive the same amber alerts at least a couple times a week. I have cross referenced these with other customers of T-Mobile thinking it's a network issue but alas it appears not to be so.

The repetition has gotten bad enough that I have attempted to toggle off emergency alerts but this has done nothing. I continue to receive alerts, often 3 or 4 at the same time.

So ultimately, is there anything I can do to fix this or is this a known issue? Whatever feedback is appreciated!

In closing... All in all I love the device and have mostly positive feedback to share with anybody who has shown curiosity towards it.

Thanks for the feedback and link. I have turned off Amber Alerts in my messages settings and it has done nothing.

I haven't gone that route yet. Going to give them a call about this shortly. I will post the response when I get in touch with them.

Sorry about the late reply...

I got in touch with T-Mobile support and was advised to do a hard reset back to factory settings on my device. The representative on the line was absolutely certain that it was not a network issue on T-Mobile's side and that it seems more of a software issue.

Yesterday I did the hard reset back to the factory settings and have not disabled the Amber Alerts as of yet just to see how things go. So far I have not received any alerts but will be reporting back on accuracy and consistency as they may happen.
