Hello. Yesterday, as it was massively raining in my city, my M2 got a little wet. After I got home, I cleaned it up with a dry piece of cloth and checked if everything was ok. It worked perfectly. But today I noticed that the sound coming from external speaker is really really quiet and noisy. I really cannot listen to any music due to that problem and the notifcations are really quiet, even though all the volume is set to max level. I even did a master reset, but it didn't help. If that information is helpful, I use the official stock KitKat rom.

I've also read that Xperia Z series had the same problem with the external speaker after it got wet. But getting it all dry helped to solve that problem, so right now I'm keeping my M2 in a bowl full of dry rice to get that water evaporate.

Has any of you had a similar problem or have an idea how to solve that?

Regards

The Xperia Z its water resistant, so its not quite the same problem, you should however contact your local Xperia Care

http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

I just did contact the Xperia Support, but I'm open for any other suggestions which could help me with my issue. Thank you.
