topic Z2 Tablet dead after Lollipop and full discharge. PC won't detect in XPERIA archive

Hi.

I updated the software to Lollipop a couple of weeks ago. Had not drained the battery fully since. Three days ago I was gaming on it and got it down to below 5%. I left the tablet on for the rest of the day and found it off at night.

I left it charging overnight, but it has not come back on after that. I've tried the up/down volume combination, pinching the orange button near the Micro SD slot, leaving it charging for over a day. Nothing works.

I called the support team and they instructed me to install Sony PC Companion to do a software Update, but the PC can't even detect the Tablet.

The tablet red charging led lights up when I plug in either the charger or the PC, but nothing beyond that.

I'm looking for some more help/instructions/directions. I'm an advanced computer user and can follow advanced instructions if needed.

Thanks,

Victor.

Sorry. No response. I did it a few times today, left it charge for a few more hours.

I'm getting suggestions and advise telling me that the battery is below a certain threashold and the system won't let it charge. That the fix is to actually jumpstart the battery outside of the tablet. I could take the tablet to a local technician, but I'm worried about loosing the water seal. Any ideas?

that batteries on the new smartphones and tablets should never go bellow 20% of charge, anw, you need to plug it into the wall charger and let it for 30 minutes, then hold vol up+powr to invoke a snapdragon hot reboot and it should start
