5.0.2 : Problems with syncing calendar

Hi,

I recently purchased a Z3 compact. It is running latest Sony software. No problem upgrading, everything seems to work well, but calendar syncing.

My professionnal calendar is exchange-based. It works fine with my old Xperia Ray, with my wife iPhone, and my android tablet. But after many tries I cannot make it sync on this Z3 compact...

Any idea please ? I tried many "tweaks" found on forums, without success...

Hi falagar-87, welcome to the community!

Have you gone into your Calendar app and ensured that the Exchange calendar is selected and/or other calendars? Just tap the three lines in the top left hand corner, scroll down & you will see the options there.

- Go to Settings -> Accounts -> Exchange ActiveSync -> Click on your work email account -> Make sure "Sync Calendar" is checked.

- Go to your App drawer -> Calendar -> Tap on the 3 lines on the upper left corner -> Find your Exchange ActiveSync work email calendar -> Make sure it's checked. You can also uncheck any other unused calendars.

Now your calendar should show the events from this account.

If this procedure didn't work try clearing cache:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Calendar -> Force stop, Clear cache and restart your phone.

- Repeat the fist 2 steps.

Hi, and thanks for helping. But it still does not work. I am on of the administrators of the exchange server, so I'm pretty sure there is no misconfiguration there.

The calendar sync perfectly with many other smartphones. The problem is located on recent versions of Android and the exchange component. (you can check code.google.com #79389 for example.

Since I am not a Google customer I get no answer from them. Since I am a Sony customer I come here : is there a known workaround, or must I ask all my techs to get back to their iPhones ?

Hello, I have the exatcly the same problem with my Xperia Z1.

After update to Android 5.0.2 the calendar is not working.

It has worked perfectly before (Android 4.4.4).

Have also tried many workaroudns and tweaks, but nothing has helped.

I'm really need the calender, use it daily.

I'm experiencing the same issues with my Sony Experia Z3. Calendar sync works just fine on a Z1 Compact with android 4.4.4. Could you please help in solving this issue?
