someone please help when I got the first lollipop Update I had an option to disable the lock screen completely on my z3 compact, ever since this recent update to fix the bugs in lollipops it only gives me the option to set a slide lock screen or PIN or password but not completely disable it so if I try to use any third party lock screen I have to first unlock the Sony one before it will go to that one.

my other issue is with the throw, screen mirroring s only once since I've had this phone have I been able to scan and have devices come up I have a smart TV and that came up but everytime I try to do it now it just says no devices found every single time

If you don't have "None" as an option for the screenlock i suspect you have used the user account functionality in Android. If you use that feature in Lollipop (just trying the guest account is enough) that option will be removed. I'm afraid the only solution i know to get it back is a master reset.

Regarding Throw, have you checked my suggestions in this thread: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/DLNA/m-p/351822

well thank you for the help yes I did try out the user accounts... I don't want to do a master reset so I guess I'm stuck with Sony's lock screen. I really like to the third party when I had better as it didn't darken the picture. I just wish I could still use face unlock. Checking the thread on throw now

Face unlock is still there but it's moved in Lollipop.

First you need to set a PIN, pattern or password as screen lock. Then enable Googles Smart Lock under Settings -> Security -> Trust agents. After that you can set face unlock under Settings -> Security -> Smart Lock.
