Problem with Z1

Do not buy Xperia Z1. There's a camera error in every Xperia Z1 phones.At night pics are getting white if we click it with flash on. You can't click a pic of moon or any thing which have black background all pics are getting white... Even the Sony regional department agreed with this but they didn't solved my problem. So now I'm filling a case against Sony India. You can contact me for pics.

If you have been told by Sony that there is a product software defect then a product recall should have been implemented or a software fix should have been released

Most probably, you're trying to shoot pictures with a phone case attached. This will happen each time you use the flash.

Noo @quester I did every possible things. My phone was with head department for 2 months they didn't solved my problem. Yesterday I spoke to Mr sunil patil division head Sony he said he is waiting for reward from head technical department (Mr Venkat subramaniam).

@thommo yes every Xperia Z1 should b recalled. I'm taking some help of media too. I'm gonna post this in newspaper. Every person should get justice. We people r not mad to pay so much amount and get this type of phone.

That's interesting because I haven't experienced what you described on my Z1, you shouldn't say that ALL Z1 experience this.

Again, I understand your frustration but don't generalize, this is a user based forum, keep in that in mind.

You r lucky dude @uliwooly but we all r facing this issue n we have purchased this with our savings. Sony has not given us for free. Y should we bare for this. N even the engineers working for Sony have same issue with their Z1. We just need justice and m gonna fight against Sony.

could you post pictures here, some of the pictures you've taken, camera settings and also take a picture of the back of your phone near the camera lens.

No way, never had these issue with my mobile and 3 of friends also got z1 never had these issue will post some images if you want , maybe yours manufacture fault or physical damage or software issue so try software repair. do post some images taken in night is it going full white?

Guys solution for the problem is just color the silver ring with black marker. I did it n now there is no problem. But I have a appointment with Sony so will discuss this error n tel them to change the color of that silver ring.

This also is a strange way to fix your problem, most if not all Xperia Z phones has this silver ring around the camera lens, and as it seems it is out of the focal path of lens. It should not affect your experience with camera at all. But if you say so, let us know how this will go

unless you post a photo... with the huge number of z1 phones around and the speed the tech media would jump on such a simple to prove problem the internet would be full of complaints.
