Can not add the account under Settings?

I installed snapchat but the app says that my address is empty when trying to sync with my phone contacts . I also install the app Viber and have synced with my contacts without problems and are added during the account in Settings . Snapchat is not to choose where .

What could be the problem ? I have tried most things plus testing reinstall the app again

Hi,

I'm no expert at Snapchat, but as far as I know it will never show up as an account via Settings > Accounts. Perhaps the following link can give you some further information about contacts in Snapchat:

Thanks for the answer ! It was just a guess that it might show up there. Thanks for the link but I've done it shows and that is where it can not find any contact when trying to sync the phone book

Have you added your phone number in Snapchat? I think this is a must in order to see the contacts from your phonebook. When you tap "My friends" you can go to the tab "Contacts" and you will be able to configure this.

Yes, I have added my phone number . Tested log in on my girlfriend's phone , where it worked if I searched for her phone book . A little sad to not find any contacts

Since you can access your contacts via Viber, it sounds more related to the Snapchat application. I'm not an expert at Snapchat so I think you would do best by contacting Snapchat to see if they can provide you with further info how you can manage this:
