Microphone port is not working

Hello Guys,

Actually I am using the earphone a lot in all my calls. Yesterday suddenly the earphone stopped working and when I used for another device is works OK. and I tried another earphone with my Xperia Z2 but it doesn't worked too.

So I think th eproblem is with the miceophone port, and one of my friend told me maybe it need for cleaning or something!

so what do you suggest? what to do ?

Settings > apps > all > smartconnect > clear data > boot on safe mode

Thank you for your reply, I tried that and still doesn't working.

I think it a hardware proble where the headset port is not detecting the earphone, when I am putting a little of alchohol cleaner the device is sense the earphone but after a while is stop working again.

Actually I don't trust the mobile maintenance shops here, maybe he will fix that but will cause another part fault.

what do you suggest?
