Battery issue

My Z3 battery is rubbish. I've sent it back once for repair, I've only had the phone 3 months!! Battery discharging quicker than charging, 2 days to fully charge while turned off, full charge lasting only one day!! Any suggestions? I've even done a factory reset since repair and deleted lots of apps still getting the same problem!!

You should contact your Local support to get it inspected, are you using a wall charger? is it Sony's original wall charger?

Hi,

I suggest that you take a look at the following link to see if you can find any tip:

You could also post a screenshot of your battery usage when you have around 5-10% battery left and we can look closer into it. You can find the battery usage via Settings > Power management > Battery usage.

It was repaired and it takes a whooping 2 days to charge? You need to change your charger or USB cable then.

Original Sony charger and USB lead only 4 months old?

When the phone is powered off and you charge it, it should approximately take 3 hours to charge it full. So yes, it may be something faulty with your charger/USB-cable.

I bought a brand new USB cable from Carphone warehouse for £15 so not a cheap USB cable and still no joy

Restart your phone regularly to see if the battery can kick in

OK battery update. It was on charge all night and only got to 63% with a brand new USB cable. It's been on charge all day and now down to 15% this is after being repaired!!! HELP

And was the phone powered off while you charged it or was it on? Have you checked the battery usage when you have low battery? If you have tried all the things that you mention, but still experience this behaviour I suggest that you contact your Local support.

Visit ismasheditrepairs.co.uk, they fixed my back so maybe they could open up the phone and replace the battery
