Headphone not working after software update

Hi All,

Any ideas my phone is 1 month old, i recently did the software update to my phone and ever since the headphone socket does not work, i have tried 2 sets of headphones and the headphones wotk fine in another phone

any ideas anyone

hi all,

Having thecsame problem more than 2weeks ago. Same problem in safe mode. Used bluetooth headphones working but somewhat bad line cannot hear a thing clearly.

Before it happened, i noticed that while im playing spotify, sometimes it change songs automatically, tried reinstall spotify but same thing.

@jaiiahr, welcome to the community, I am sorry to hear about this.

Did your issue begin after a software update too? You may wish to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion to reinstall the firmware.

Jumping in to say the same thing happened on my sony xperia. Installed a software update last week and my headphones stopped working. Booting into safe mode made no difference.

I have not yet tried doing a factory reset or using the repair tool.

The repair tool would not let me upgrade or reinstall the phone software.

Is there anyway I can downgrade to the previous version?
