https://community.sonylatvija.com/t5/5-series/album-google-photos-problems/m-p/3655841#M1104 <P>Hi there, have been using my Xperia 5 with no problems until now, I just checked on Google Photos (which I didn't even know was turned on as I use the internal Album app and Flickr), only to find for the last 2 months my phone has been uploading all my photos etc to Google photos. <STRONG>Sync was turned off.</STRONG></P><P>So I go into Google photos on my phone, and delete them all, checked on a desktop and they had all gone from the webpage on my computer too, great, I thought.&nbsp;</P><P>So I go to settings and disable the Google photos app. Then go back to my Album on my phone, only to find that all my photos had been deleted from there too.</P><P>I tried taking a picture but nothing was stored in the album. Turned GP back on and Album started saving photos again.</P><P>Why has Sony suddenly auto-affiliated the native Album app with GP? Eh? So you delete stuff off of GP and it clears your Cinema Pro projects aswell?
