X5 mobile network no service

I'm having problems with my new Sony Xperia 5 phone. It will keep disconnecting from Vodafone and then it says "no service". I cannot use data or receive calls. I have tried to get the Vodafone signal back by taking out the sim card and putting it back in again. Worked the first few times but not anymore. The phone is useless to me without a signal , what can I do?

I have the same problem. Is it an issue with Sony or they are forcing us to buy other phones like apple was accused of in the recent class action suite In the USA?

Have you tried to update the nework settings?

@RottenFoxBreath, the phone was working perfectly but nowadays there is no network connectivity -note it is not data connectivity.
