case or caseless?

So ate you guys using your device with case or not? Why?

Case-less, many reasons, it will be a pain to remove the case every time I want to charge it with the dock, since it's waterproof I try not to use the flaps unless I really have to (to avoid wear them off), it will also make the Xperia Z look a lot thicker and why hide the amazing design

I did rush off and buy a case (local store already had them) but it's too much hassle taking the phone out to put it in the charging dock so I won't be using it much. Also it felt too lumpy. I bought a cheap leather case w/cover on eBay and if that turns out to be easier to get the phone in and out of I might use that when carrying the phone with me.

I have one of those gel type covers and the chaging metal pads are uncovered, I bought the case in case I dropped the phone on a hard surface to offer some shock protection, I have also ordered a dock and if it doesn't fit the dock with the cover on I will make it fit by modifying the dock

I ordered the dock because I believe that constantly removing the charging tab will reduce it's ability to seal water out - this phone should have been supplied with a free dock like the ARCO S

It won't fit in the dock with any kind of cover on, that's for sure. So it doesn't matter that the cover I got doesn't have an opening for the chargind pads.

I will modify the dock to make it fit - it's not rocket science but I surely do not like opening that usb cover 3-4 times a day as of now I keep the flap open until I'm sure I will not be using it for a while

Modify the dock? You'd basically have to cut off the sides and probably also the front and I think it'll be very hard to make the phone fit smugly once you do that. Unless your cover is very very thin.

I will assess it when I get the dock but one thing I do know is - that I will be using the dock to charge the phone complete with gel cover - I will not be opening and closing that charging/usb flap anymore - mine is starting to feel like it will fall open

mate honestly and I'm being serious here, if I have to cut away the sides and use an elastic band to hold the phone in place I will do it - if it avoids opening that little tab (which is a handleing in itself) then I will do it - I don't care what it looks like as long as the phone sits in there and charges with the least amount of effort, as a side note - I'm not sure a cover is even required after watching those german guys run a car over a Sony Experia - I'm starting to question if I even need a cover - for what lol

here at India we got a Leather case free with Z.

I prefer using it while on the go, reason being it protects me from the lil amount of heat tat my Z tends to generate.

Saying tat i keep it removed wen charging for dissipating the same heat....
