Hi, I have forgot the unlock pattern on my xperia z5. Is there any way of unlocking it?

Hi @Howard7719, let me see if I can help out here.

The easiest way to get access to the phone again if you have forgotten the screen lock of your phone is to repair the software on the phone using Xperia Companion and a computer. Keep in mind though that since you are not able to access the phone, you will need to start the repair with the phone detached from the computer and tick the "My device cannot be detected or started, or is a Smartwatch 3" checkbox and choose "Next", then simply follow the on-screen instructions.

If you do not have access to Xperia companion, you could also use Googles service called Find My Device. Simply log in to the service using your Google credentials, click on your phone if prompted and choose the option called "Erase".

Do note that both these measures will erase all user data from the phone.
