On the back of the device there is a NFC sensor that will try and read these cards as they are NFC compatible and you will see a message that says something along the lines with "No support apps for the tag", is that what shows up in your device?<BR /><BR />If it is, go to Settings &gt; More and turn off NFC.<BR /><BR />Regarding safe mode and apps. In safe mode only the pre-installed applications will be loaded and all downloaded applications are temporarily disabled.
