Hi,

I have a problem where when i am listening to music or watching videos, sometimes with or without a headset the volume will adjust itself. For example it would suddenly lower my volume to when my phone is not in silent mode. also the google search and smart connect will prompt me to unlock the device or something.

though it does not happen everytime it is happening enough for me to be conciously aware of it. it is espcially problematic when I play games too. where the volume bar suddenly appears and changes my volume to

please help thank you

Thanks. Alexdon for your reply, I tried your suggestion and I didn't face the same problem during safe mode, So I suspected latest apps I've installed forced them to stop one by one and I think the problem was due to app "navigator" so I uninstalled it and everything is fine up till now, Hope it stays fine

My ring volume was changing to low whenever I received a call, making me miss any subsequent calls. Turning off "Increasing Ringtone" seemed to fix the problem. (Settings, Call, General) or (Settings, Sound and Notification). Sony D2502, Android 5.0.2 Kernel 3.4.0+

After I started boosting up in SAFE MODE, many of my APPS such as FIREFOX, YOUTUBE, EBAY etc etc disappeared. I cannot live without those APPS. therefore I power down and then power up NORMALLY to get back to the regular mode and those APPS returned. I did not get a chance to find out if the occasional RING VOLUME disable problem would go away in SAFE MODE. IF any one has a solution rather than starting a SAFE MODE or any suggestion, please tell me. This occasional ring volume disable problem happens once in almost 24 hours. Restarting the phone returned the ring volume to normal. WHEN it has the problem, the ring volume was always at its MAX level, but tapping on it will not give the ring tone. Restart it will solve the problem until the next time. THANK YOU

I have searched for this because my phone has been doing this for a week now. I'm currently in safe mode with all my third party apps disabled because of so and it's still an issue. Only while I'm in YouTubd or on Spotify. No other app. Please help ☹️
