FM Radio is not working

I don't know what happened to fm radio on my device but it's been a while my fm radio stopped working...
My device is Xperia Z Ultra C6802 with the latest android 4.4.4 and firmware version 14.4.A.0.108
How can i fix this issue?

Have you tried the FM Radio with different headset connected?

No i dont have any other headset..
When i start fm radio app it just crash and says unfortunately, fm radio has stopped.

I'm also facing similar problem. by FM radio is starting fine but no sound output. Not even in the speaker mode. I tried the same headphone in another mobile and just worked fine for FM Radio there.

What can be the problem? Is it a software bug or an hardware one?

Same here.

I know the radio's picking up the signal OK, as the visualisation changes in time to the received programme (checked against another FM radio) , but there's no audio on headphones or speaker. Reception is very good at my location in general, and I've tried a variety of headsets, but nothing produces any actual audio.

I've tried disabling the radio in the Apps menu, clearing all data and then re-enabling, but it makes no difference. It did work before, and the failure may be tied to the latest Android update, but I can't say for sure.

Model number C6903, Android version 5.0.2.

Hi,

I was also facing same issue.

the solution is Turn off google now setting -> detect voice from every screen.

Radio will work properly.

in android 5.1.1 it 's presumably relate to update your FM radio .for return to factory version your Radio you can go to:

Settings> About Phone> Diagnostics>Go to Application Incidents> go to FM radio > uninstall last update for your FM radio> then restart...

after restart maybe your problem with radio solved!!!

Just deactivate ok Google detection by changing any screen option inside language input > Google voice typing.

the solution is Turn off google now . Go to Setting -> Language and Input -> Diasble "Ok Google" .

Radio will work properly.

I have the same issue in xperia z2 but now it has resolved.

Go to Ok google SETTING > voice, then off the 'Access with voice match'.

Bought a Xperia XA2 Ultra. Camera super. But FM radio the reception is very weak and interruptions. My M2 FMradio is super. But this is poor. Any solution...

FM is not working at all whereas I got my cell phone.on 28th December 2019, just for FM radio feature Pl. Set my problem
