answering machine problem after z3 update to lollipop

I updated my z3 dual to android 5 but now I cant record greeting for answering machine and says unfortunately , phone has stoped. If any one faced with problem like me? Any one can help me to solve it.

Try settings-apps-all-phone,force stop and clear data.Restart.

Guys, please help me. Like you I tried to update my Z3 dual but it fail. So i can use my phone nor I know how to make it work again. It says "Sofware update fail. Make sure ..." it is conect to my pc but i can't turn it on. I don't know if what you said will work "Try settings-apps-all-phone,force stop and clear data.Restart." i this case. And I don't know how to do it. HELP

I have a z3 dual. My answering machine don't work after upgrade to android 5. It force close app after record a greeting message. Why?!!!

I just tried recording an Answering Maching Greeting message and it went OK on my Z3 Dual. I guess you might have a software bug/glitch. My advice is to do a backup of your personal data then proceed to a Factory reset, or phone repair via PC Companion.

Don't worry if you are facing any error from xperia answering machine then turn off antomatic call recording in call recorder app or uninstall call recording app....answering machine will work properly.
