Sinhalese support for lollipop

I own a Xperia z2(D6503) with Android Lollipop 5.0.2 and I'm unable to read Sinhalese language on it. To my knowledge Lollipop update came with support to Sinhalese but it seems to be unavailable on Xperia devices. Would this be fixed or not because I read aloud of Sinhalese websites on my phone and I won't have any use for this phone without sinhalese on it. Is there anyway to fix this or if there an update when would it be.

This is something that has been forwarded as feedback but i'm afraid i don't know when/if this will be added.

But are you sure it's supported by default in Lollipop? From what i've been able to find, a Nexus device on Android 5.0 does not support this language.

I just got information that support for Sinhala is planned to be added in a future maintenance release. I don't have any release date of this update though.
