I updated my z ultra to the 5.0 lolipop version,but it is very very buggy.
1.The wifi is turning on and off from 2 to 2 mins IT IS VERY ANNOYING **bleep**
2.The camera is very laggy comparing to 4.4
3.When you have x-reality on and a live walpaper from sony on the lock screen,when you wake up the phone the background of the lockscreen is creepy,the quality is very poor utill i unlock it,and x reality is keeping modifing the colors,it is very strange.
I want to know what can i do in this case...

Dear Sony,

Kindly be informed some bugs currently I am facing in 5.0.2 build number 14.5.A.0.242.

(1) I couldn't control volume via my bluetooth device SBH52 and it mutes frequently.

(2) X reality doesn't work in Album but Video is fine.

(3) Battery drains faster.

(4) It heats up than Kitkat.

(5) Playing video background stops frequently.

(6) Equalizer is not stable.

(7) FM Radio only works when Google's Voice from any screen is disabled.

(8) Camera launching is faster than before but pictures quality is a little poor.

As a special request, l would like to have super vivid mode in our Z Ultra. could you please add this feature in the future update. Lacking of this mode in Z Ultra big screen big entertainment is not good. Thank You.

I m actually facing the same problems on my z ultra and It s pissing me off.i tried a factory reset and nothing happens.maybe will Be another update to fix these bugs ...

Have you tried something like factory reset,repair with pcc ? I think i ll wait one week and If nothing changes i'll give a shot to repairing with pcc.

When I updated xperia z ultra to lollipop the music volume reduced substantially even I full volume please help me as I cannot hear the loud sound as before

-my impression

-audio is totally broken, xloud missing, clearaudio+ doesnt even work anymore

-pencil input still does not work

-email app does not have split screen support like before where you can actually see the contents below. It just a lazy clone of other z devices, does not take advantage of the big screen

-notification light not shown properly (I think this is a lollipop issue itself)

-Battery die faster

-miracast/screen mirror is broken, does not work with my MS wireless display where all my other devices can connect to it without a hitch.

2 of the major features, pencil input and screen mirroring that I see in lots of ads haven't been working for a long long time. This is BS.

Hello,

I will only review the negative points of your stock ROM.

1) Taking screenshots requires fast reactions.

2) In the bar, when deployed, you can't edit what you want.

(WIFI and BLUETOOTH cannot be removed or replaced (a shame).

But, wonderfully, you will have a beautiful well made menu when you want to replace them,

I couldn't take a screenshot because when the menu is deployed,

and when you hit the screenshot button, the menu disappears (issue 1).

3) This, is not removable as a shortcut, I sometimes do the error of swiping like that involontary.

4) When I connect my device for charging with the magnetic cable, I always wake up my wife with the sound that cannot be removed, and, we are forced to live with it (she doesn't care, but I do).

5) No new wallpapers, no new notifications, no new ringtones

(Say NO to customisations !) (BTW I don't want to download adware apps for it)

6) I don't like these apps (RED) Why can't we uninstall them ? WHY ? ? ? ?

(BLUE) I even had to install a Google Keyboard because your keyboard is nearly unstable for french typers, thank you again that we are still able to edit the keyboard...

7) Why this Google search bar ?

Where is the close all tabs button ?

Why again putting this useless white bar that nobody uses ?

😎 Even Google Chrome has an edited welcome page with everytime SONY's website... I even had to change that

9) Camera Photo is sluttering (I really moved the image, but when we take pictures and move the phone, the image that we are seeing is sluttering).

I won't buy a smaller smartphone as a nexus or whatever with configurable options (because you will advice it to me). I like this device and not the software. I even think that SONY made this intentionally to make pissing of their customers. Nothing is configurable.

And, I don't understand why SONY has to touch a clean base of android like that and removing all the configurations and customisations possible ?

They could have just put their great camera app, walkman (or not because it's an adware now), please, not their keyboard, no thanks, and some great features of them, like on the GPE.

Why not letting the coice to customers ? Why always it's you who decide ?

And, I won't install a custom rom because the camera is crap, the sound recorded by the camera, shazam, snapchat or whatever is inaudible, but the rest is great... We need developpers to resolve those small issues.

I'm really disappointed of your bad services, you even took SIX MONTHS to release this and it ain't even acceptable to use.

i purchase my xperia z ultra 3 month ago and it was built in with android 4.4.2 (kit kat) yesterday i update my devices to android 5.0.2 (lolipop). Unfortunately, i was very disapointed because it makes my devices became generic nexus tablet. No more xperia theme ui, it only change wallpaper and icon, no more overall background. Now, i wish to using stock firmware and can somekne help me to do this)

Well we are still waiting in South Africa, and after all the complains I read about Lollipop for Xperia, I got my hands on Cyanogen and will never look back, if there is issues, CM sorts it out in a matter of a week, with constant updates, where as with Sony have to wait 6-8 months for this to happen. #CM12

I can't belive it, how SONY could let an update being released after six months of work with a laggy camera ?

and even, a forced sound when plugging the magnetic charger, I mean, they force us to hear it everytime ? ! ?

I'm planning to buy an iPhone 6 Plus next year when I'm gonna working... To have everything that is working fine, damned bastards SONY, gold diggers, customers are nothing as at Samsung... Keep laughing at us

Massive inconvenience .. I now need to buy a headphone amplifier ... Lollipop upgrade has reduced headphone volume by about 30%. It was already "weak, puny, sickly, and insufficient" before upgrade, but is now noticeably MUCH WORSE ...

Worst of all is that this is INTENTIONAL, to save our ears .... MY CHOICE Sony ... And you are turning people off your phones SO FAST with this nanny state rubbish ... Please accept that it's gone too far, and FIX IT !

I've stopped buying acer, for some reasons (acer liquid mini previously), stopped buying samsung for a reason, (owned a galaxy note), and now it's the turn of sony, next time I'll buy an iPhone and will get what I deserve, verified apps on the store, superb audio quality, not laggy camera, smooth user interface and interactive, beautiful thing itself, may be not so customisable as android, but who would change the launcher of the iOS ? it's so beautiful compared to google. Also, everyone else having an iPhone for SMS, they will have the same emoticones as you, same letters disposition, and everything...you are making all of us pissed
