Forgotten screen lock pattern on Sony Experia Z2

I set up a new pattern for my lock screen on my Sony Experia Z2 and I have forgotten it. How can I unlock my phone without deleting any files? I need to keep my photos ect. I have tried to use Sony PC Companion but for that you need to have your screen unlocked and I can't unlock it because I don't know the pattern. I have also tried to enter a code in the emergency call section to try unlock it and it didn't work. What can I do?

Maybe this can help:

If the above doesn't help,you need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Hello thanks for trying to help me. I luckily just guessed my lock screen password after 170 attemps! It was stressful.

I have forgotten my Screen unlock pattern and to reset the password without erasing internal memory And to do that GPS needs to be switched on which is unfortunately off, Please help me to unlock my phone.
