App opening automatically after Update

Whenever an app is getting updated it is opening automatically. I dont know why this is happening

So you update an app from the play store and then the app opens - That may happen if you tap on open whilst in the play store where the app update page

No i dont do anything...i just press update all and close play store..and then after updating each app..they open itself

Never heard of this before so I'd recommend a app preferences reset to see if this fixes your issue - To do this open Settings then Apps then tap the 3 dots then tap on Reset app preferences then reboot and test

You must have an app causing this so if you know which app could be doing this then delete it or a final option is a system repair

I am getting the same issue but I can't figure out what's causing it. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus running Android 8.0.0 and it seems to have randomly started opening an app after it updates from google play. I cannot figure out what causes this. I have removed several apps that I thought would have caused the problem but to no avail. Please someone help me out here. My email is personal info removed

Hi all, I had the exact same problem. After an update or the installation of a new app, it open automatically.

After a couple of days and a lot of serch and test, I figured out that a game named "Zombie Tsunami" was the cause.

Deleting all datas and uninstalling it, fixed the problem.

Maybe start by deleting some games..

Wow you were completely correct. It was effing zombie tsunami! Im in utter shock that that was the actual reason causing that overly frustrating problem
