Hi. Sony Z5 premium is being sold here in China, where I work, since beginning of this month. I already have Z3 for a year and I wonder if there's any game-changing upgrade to camera comparing to Z3?
I don't care 4k screen but I rather care camera quality. Z5P owners, would you share your idea with me please?
Actually, Z3 Camera is good except for extra white light everywhere when it detects my daughter's face and tries to brighten it. If by any way, I turn this face detection off, it shoots her face dark. That is, when it tries to brighten my daughter face, then everything else also goes very bright and white. Turning on HDR makes no difference too

Here I leave two of photos:

I don't see a problem, since the background is bright and the foreground it's dark the camera will focus on the foreground (person) and by doing this the background will look even brighter.

My brother has Samsung S5 and I as I noticed his mobile doesn't create that much white in other places than person. In my Sony, every color looks mixed with a tint of white.

Well, the problem is almost solved with 8mp and HDR on with manual settings. Now, the only issue that I should agree with many Sony users complaint is faded colours.
Why are the colours by Sony A series that washed out? Is this solved in Z5P?

Washed out? some users complain about that bc they had a samsung phone which have AMOLED displays which over saturate the colors.

Yes, faded colours. That is the photos (x-reality off) have faded color. They are much faded than the colours (of the scene) I can see with my eyes.

Do you experience the same with all pictures or just with the examples that you've posted, if you have a bright background then ISO will be high in an attempt to focus on the foreground, check with outdoor settings.
