No the stuttering happens on the train, when walking, when sat still. In fact just all the time. Like the Bluetooth has disconnected then connected.
I could put up with that, but the mic picking up the background noise more than my voice is really annoying.
anyone know how to raise these issues with Sony? So wishing I hadn’t bought them.

I have just purchased these and have noticed that there is sometimes a'stutter' when listening to music. It is as though the headphones disconnect and then reconnect straightaway. I have set the priority to stable connection but am still experience 'stuttering'. The sound is awesome but this stuttering is annoying me. Is there anything I can do or is the unit faulty??

I have also just purchased some headphones - Sony WH-1000XM3 and have noticed the exact same thing when connected to my TV. When there is no audio from the TV program. ie - No music, dialogue etc. there is a sense that the headphones mutes for a fraction of a second until someone on the TV speaks or music is played. Very odd - hopefully I will get used to it. Not sure if this is the same as your experience.

I also have the stuttering sound

and also enormous background noise to the point that no one can hear me over the background traffic noise.
Really regretting buying these.

Hi all

I wonder if you experience the stuttering only in transit? This may be related to changing air pressure as that's basically how noise cancelling works.

Win_88

I just bought the earbuds and having the same issues. I already updated the firmware to the latest 3.0.0 and reset several times, but unfortunately it is still happening. It works fine with my IPhone 6, but skipping/minor pause happened quite often when I connect with my MacBook Pro, it happened every 10-30 seconds. I also got replacement but still happening. I think it's something Sony should improve with their firmware? but my WH-1000XM3 headset works great with any of my devices.

Yes honestly tried everything.
Even deleted and reset.
The background noise is also incredible and stopped me using them. Just about to put them on eBay.

Sent from my iPhone

Have you tried using different devices with the headphones as well? In case the issue was from the connected device and not the headphones themselves.
