Sony Linkbuds S gestures need a lot of fixing

I think the gesture controls are ridicoulus on the Linkbuds S.
We can chose to have 2 of 3 controls on the 2 buds. Volume, Playback or ANC toggling.
Now, if I let's say choose ANC for the left bud I can toggle with one tap, 2 and 3 taps do NOTHING and long hold is quick attention...

This is really a waste of resources. Why cannot we have playback controls here for 2 and 3 taps?

Or why cannot we long press for ANC on the volume settings?
Two of these are completely empty and not assigned.

Let's say I set playback controls for left bud and volume for right bud, I cannot toggle ANC.
(even the widget does not have a toggle which is really dumb)
Here is how the widget looks...? Why not put ANC toggle there (WORST CASE) instead of that useless adaptive toggle?

Don't get me wrong, these are almost perfect earbuds but the lack of these nuance just kill the joy.

I completely agree with everything you're saying. It would be great to have a firmware update to make the controls like the ones on the new WF-1000XM5. At least we can control everything at that point!
