topic NW-ZX100 SensMe crashing in Portable Audio

I bought a Sony NW-ZX100 last week to replace my long-serving iPod Classic. I've added my music to it, but whenever I add new music to it and then go to the SensMe options, it says it needs to analyse the new songs and register them to the channel. When I then tell it to do this, it starts going through all 381 new songs, but always gets to 187/381 and then it seems to get stuck and the only way to get it working again is to do a hard reset.

I've spoke to Sony who want me to post it away for repair, but to me it seems more like a software bug. Is anyone elses unit doing this at all?

Thanks in advance!

Kevin

Of course it's a software bug! Why are Sony being so idiotic? What are they going to do, resolder the microchips for you? dear oh dear...
