topic Sony CFD-S70 CD & Cassette Player in Portable Audio

For some reason when I load my CDs, it is displaying "No CD". I have tried the obvious like making sure it is the right way up, has been pushed down sufficiently and tried different CDs just ensure it was not just the one I was trying. Any suggestions as to how I might get it to work?

Hi Davidskaye,

I've just had a look into the support page of the device and found a similar issue to what you're facing, I believe you can find a solution here: https://bit.ly/2AGaJJf .

Cheers,

The_Black_Rose

I have put in the serial number and been advised this model has this problem. My player is out of warranty. The nearest dealer repair shop says it will cost £25 for 30 minutes to ascertain the problem and then cost of repairs on top of this. It could cost more to repair than to buy new. Will SONY pay for the repair?
