Sony Wh1000-MX3 will not update firmware to 4.2.2

Hello,

I recently purchased the WH1000-MX3 and I downloaded the Sony Headphones app. The app is telling me that there is a firmware update to 4.2.2.

I clicked update and the update would download but it will not transfer to the headphones.

Things I have tried.

1) Disconnect/Forget the headphones from my Iphone

2) Reset the headphones (via pressing power and NC/Ambient button while charging)

3) Closing all the apps

4) Closing Google Assistant

5) Deleted the Sony Headphones app.

That's very unusual. Do you have a different phone to try?
