Unsure on what error your referring to, because these are error messages (apparently) for your model:

However, its recommended a Factory Reset if things do not operate normally:

Unfortunately the error message appears as soon as switched on and none of the buttons respond. Thanks for your reply

I also have a FW-ERROR, on my CMT-BT80WB. I have tried to reset it as described here but it doesn't work. What to do? Thank you for your help.

It's nothing you can do, you have to send it in to Sony. Mine is under 5 years old, so I think they will pay it.

I have the same problem on a CMT60. FW error and unable to factory reset. The error appears as soon as it is powered. The unit is exactly 3 years old.
